Lovely surprise to find The Sketchbook Project showcased my second Mat Marvel comic, The Book Of Life at an ongoing exhibition at The Center for Book Arts in New York.
The show, titled “Brother Can You Spare a Stack” highlights several alternative libraries around the world. You can see my sketchbook’s centre page - aka. The Egyptian street scene - displayed in the glass cabinet. Photos taken by Art House.
My book “When Wear What” was in that exhibition too!

Anastasia Mastrakouli (Greece) - Naked Silhouette Alphabet
Anastasia Mastrakouli is a Greek photographer and student of Fine Arts and Cinematography at Ionian University, Greece. Her photo Series “Naked Silhouette Alphabet” was accomplished by having the model press herself against a pane of wet glass. Mastrokouli said the goal of the project is to, “highlight the dialectical relationship between anatomy and visual arts.”
